• 900-series nominally 878°F/470°C max temperature
• Metcal SmartHeat® technology automatically adjusts power levels during each soldering operation to maintain accurate temperatures through the soldering process.
• Available in chisel, v-groove chisel, blade, conical, slot, and barrel geometries.
• Patented Chip-in-Cartridge technology enables closed-loop, bi-directional communication between the tip and the CV unit, stores and records cartridge attributes, provides traceability information, protects the power supply from non-conforming cartridges, and are backwards-compatible with MX Series power supplies.
